GROWING INSTRUCTIONS
Choose loose, well-drained, nutrient-rich soil (sandy loam or alluvial soil is best). Plow the land, remove weeds, and mix in organic compost or manure for better fertility. Soak the elephant grass seeds in warm water for 4–6 hours to stimulate germination.
STEP 1: Sow seeds
Sow the seeds evenly and cover with a thin layer of soil, about 1–2 cm deep (do not bury too deep). Water daily to keep the soil moist but not waterlogged. After about 3–5 days, the seeds will begin to germinate into young seedlings.
STEP 2: Care for the Plants
Keep the soil moist throughout the growing period, especially in dry seasons. First harvest in about 25–40 days. After that, cut every 15–25 days for continuous, high-yield forage.
